Artist Statement.
I’m a self-taught acrylic and textured artist. I make landscape and textured floral paintings. My inspiration comes from all the different places I’ve traveled. This journey is not just about the landscapes I paint but also about the internal landscapes I traverse. All my recent paintings have been inspired the changing seasons in Chicago with the beautiful flowers all around me. With each petal I put down with my palette knife, it tells a story of nature and beauty around me.
As I continue to explore and evolve, I invite viewers to step into the scenes I’ve crafted, to feel the textures, to breathe in the colors, and to find their own connection with the natural world.
